The project
The West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund supports clean energy projects, and this video looks at its work with Phipps Conservatory in Pittsburgh. Uppercut Studios produced it. It’s a companion to our Elk County Visitor Center film for the same fund.
What we did
We did the full post-production, through to final delivery. PJ Horn edited and color corrected the film, and Chelsea Horn created the motion graphics.
Why it works
Energy efficiency is hard to film, since most of it is hidden in walls and mechanical rooms. Pairing the story with a place people already love, like Phipps, makes the investment easy to understand. Motion graphics fill in the technical side, and the fund gets a video that shows what its money paid for to the public, to partners and to future applicants.
