PPG Paints and the Pittsburgh Penguins
PPG Paints Arena Installation Timelapses
Timelapse video of the installation at PPG Paints Arena, home of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Directed, shot and edited by Two Horn for GH Advertising and PPG.
The project
When PPG Paints put its name on the Pittsburgh Penguins’ arena, there was a lot of physical work to show. GH Advertising hired us to capture it. We set up timelapse cameras and recorded the installation at PPG Paints Arena from start to finish.
What we did
We directed and shot the timelapses, edited the film, and finished the color and graphics.
Why it works
Timelapse video squeezes days of work into a couple of minutes, and people love watching something big come together. For a naming rights deal, it makes the change feel real to fans and gives the brand behind-the-scenes content that’s easy to share. It also leaves the company with a record of the moment it can keep using.
Need a brand film like this?
Commercials, brand films and the stuff companies actually need. We plan it, light it, shoot it and cut it. Two people who have done this for fifteen years, plus a crew we trust when the job gets bigger.
